Xtra-Seal Chemical Vulcanizing Cement (8 oz.) - 2 Pack

I use this product when installing tire plugs but in this case, used it to weld an additional wear layer on the bottom of my raft pontoons. Good product.

We use this on all our rope-style tire repairs. Never failed yet. We wet the reamer so that along with enlarging the hole to the proper size, it coats the interior of the hole and starts the vulcanization process. We then dip the rope seal in the cement and install it. Never fails.

I always carry one of these in my car tool box along with tire plug kit. For me, this is a must if want to reliably plug your tire and fix the flat. Hot or cold, it will stay usable in your trunk for about 5-7 years if stored with lid tight before the volatile components evaporate too much and it becomes too gummy and viscous to use. I prefer this old timey metal can over any metal tubes or plastic containers. $22 for 2 cans is a fair price. You don't need anything more expensive or fancy for plugging tires.

It tire glue. Works as it should. Seals up nice. Seems to be durable.
