Super easy install! Toilet stopped leaking right away. Save yourself $400 paying a plumber and do it yourself.

You can call a plumber and pay over $500 to have your toilet replaced, or you can purchase this kit and fix your existing toilet. I was told, by a plumber, to replace my toilet. The fill valve, between the tank and bowl was leaking. I decided to give this kit a try BEFORE dropping over 20 times the amount of money on a new toilet. I followed the included instructions and had my toilet fixed in less than an hour. There’s no constant noise from water running anymore. The new valve DOES NOT leak at all and functions perfectly. I have a new toilet! And I fixed it myself! If you’re not comfortable performing this repair, look up some YouTube videos. It’s a much simpler repair than what any plumber will tell you! I’m very pleased with this kit and would recommend it to anyone that doesn’t want to shell out 500 dollars or more for a new toilet.

If you’re replacing the valve yourself, make sure you get a kit like this that includes the wrench. It is difficult to get the old valve off the toilet with out it.

Had a slow leak from the tank to the bowl and this fixed my problem. The instruction could be better ordered, so read the whole instructions first instead of installing as you read.

After getting the unit fully installed, I discovered that the provided flapper did not seal properly. I replaced it with an identical flapper and found that it also leaked. When I replaced the flapper, with a Toto flapper the leak was stopped but I discovered another problem. The adjustable standpipe leaks water into the bowl when the tank water level rises above the level of the internal standpipe portion. If I stop the water below that, the whole unit does not leak, but there isn't enough water in the tank for a proper flush. I tried waterproof tape around the standpipe joint, but it was only partially successful. I'm going to look for a single piece flush valve, but I still must go through the installation process again.

This did not fit my toilet tank, so I returned and I went to home depot to look for another kit, just to see this one there for about $26.

East to fit when rusted original cistern bolts removed. Works well .
