Borax is so old school.It just works in so many areas of cleaning and disinfecting.

I have moved into a home with unsealed grout between the tile floors throughout the house.I mopped and mopped a scrubbed on my darn hands and knees for years, wondering why he the heck my socks where always dark gray or dirty looking after walking around my house in just my sox...I finally learned the grout had never been sealed? Or cured? Its hard like concrete but you can scratch it and it comes out on a rag or... my socks. My dogs claws where the culprit! Lol that, and that the tile guy never came back to seal the grout! Too much stuff to move around to do it now... will have it done when I move someday. Without my dog claws scratching between the tiles, loosening the clay like sandy grout, its not so much a problem now... I'd much rather have my dog back and have dingy soxs... Sadly she passed away from old age... I miss her, along with my dingy socks... : •( The dog was far more important to me! Anyhow I tried bleach and every cleanser known to man, to get my soxs clean. Nothing worked until 20 Mule Team! This stuff is the BOMB BABY! Extra tough on tough stains! .5 Stars Baby! - I still miss my dog... a year later and it's like it happened yesterday... old age sucks!No offense to anybody intended but....God bless all of you

After all these years, why mess with a good thing. This works, it removes stubborn odors in laundry and cleans very well. It’s a key ingredient in the laundry sauce I make to wash all my clothes with. Great stuff.
