Pocket Journal Pouch that doubles as a slim EDC, nylon-tough with an elastic band
This MAY seem like a VERY small “plus” for some but it was HUGE for me - the elastic that keeps this VIPERADE VE11 pocket journal pouch in place (especially once it is FULLY loaded) is adorned with a small pig’s head. It made me laugh, made me appreciate the designer’s sense of humor (and proportion) and appreciate that a small detail means so much for the EDC person who might purchase a pouch like this one. It has several pockets, pen or marker pockets, inside and out, and a deep sleeve to hold your standard “field note” size journal (or even one that is slightly wider - the one shown in one of my photos). I will load this up as a writing journal on the weekends, as a tech pouch when I’m traveling or camping, and it’s perfect for my vehicle - it holds just about every EDC item I need (or just like to keep near me).

I'm not mad about it
The v11 is so close to what I needed it to be for me. I appreciate its generous external pockets and flexible pocketing, which allows me to carry my iPhone 15 Pro Max (sticks out a bit) and a multi-tool simultaneously! But where it's a let down is the pockets on the inside. Weirdly shaped and strangely overlapping, they appear like card holders, but in reality, there is only one slot that is card-sized. The rest of the sections are just bottomless sections, which aren't well suited for anything with volume. As such, they are mostly unused.I was, however, grateful that it did accommodate my A6 pocket notebook - the Pocket Bullet Journal, perfectly.Beyond the design, the build quality is excellent, and it will no doubt be fine for a long while. It's worth noting that if you have loose items, there are no zippers. Overall, it's a fantastic value for the money. While Viperade may not be a hyped brand, its relatively low price means that many of its products fall into impulse purchase categories, and I'm totally not mad about it!

Looks Good
Doesn't close evenly, but good for my field book and pen. Subsequently, I bought a leather journal cover which looks and feels considerably better.

Must have for EDC
The media could not be loaded. So nice. Built tough and has the tactical look with velcro front and back and pockets in and out. It's about 5"x4" which is perfect for my pocket "trash" and credit cards. Really like everything about this, the pig warrior lanyard holder is very cool. If you're into EDC you must have one of these. If you're not into EDC you must have one of these!

I can see it being good for some people
I have been using a Lochby as a wallet for a year or so and it’s great but bulky and I often have to take it out of my back pocket when sitting. I was hoping this would be a little slimmer and it is but there are other problems that make it not as useful as a wallet. It does feel well constructed and like it will hold up well but due to the Velcro field, it’s hard to get in and out of a pocket and the interior pockets aren’t conducive for cards and IDs as they are too wide and deep. It’s a decent price and I’ll hang onto it but it isn’t exactly what I was thinking it was.

Another Great VIPERADE EDC Product
A versatile EDC pouch for carrying a notepad, pen, cards, and EDC tools. This can easily handle a multitool, flashlight, tactical pen, and small notepad without tearing apart your jacket pockets. If you are so inclined, you can also attach Velcro patches. The pouches even come with a stretch rope and a lanyard bead to keep it closed. This is a perfect jacket or vest EDC pouch. The included rope and bead are a bonus.Note: During the warm months, this is not great for maintaining the “gray man” image but in the cooler months, this will always be a part of my EDC gear in my vest or jacket.Bottom Line: A wonderful carry pouch to hold your EDC gear.

Great design, but the loop field on the outside is not great
I have been a fan of products from Viperade. I like another tool pouch by them. This journal cover/pouch however is not as good. The design idea is sign. However the front and back has a very large loop field, which would be nice if the material is a bit stronger. The internal organization is good. I can put a small fieldnotes type of note book on the right side, and put a few cars on the left. Index cards also fit well on either side. The cover closes with a completely loose piece of elastic cord. That will be the first thing that get lost, and then the cover will not close. If they put a hook-and-loop tab on the edge instead to close the cover it will be a much better design. Maybe the next iteration.

My new wallet
I love that I can carry a notebook, pens, flashlight, cards and cash all in one place.
