GRAYL UltraPress Replacement Purifier Cartridge - Orange

Good to have a few of these on hand with world situation. These filter anything and everything from any questionable water source. They work so good I actually bought 2 titanium ultrapress @$200 each. They design is so good so u can use with minimal effort. There expensive but a very necessary thing for shtf situations. These are built to last years of use and are extremely portable. These filters are the best filters on the market in my opinion and they do fit ultrapress. Small compact filters to replace you dead filter on ultrapress. Very nice to have. Happy customer 😀

This GRAYL replacement filter cartridge is just as fantastic as the original that came with my filter water bottle. I've used my GRAYL bottle on countless hikes, camping trips, and even in places where tap water was questionable, and it's never let me down. Best water purifier!

Replacement leaks. Every time I took a drink I got wet as unfiltered water bypassed the rubber seal. Because of the leakage, there was a high risk of the unfiltered contaminated water in the base unit mixing with the filtered water when filling my hydration pack. Follow up review. I contacted Grayl regarding the leakage problem. The bottle was still under warranty and they sent replacement inner and out cups. Somehow the outer cup had become misshaped and this prevented a proper seal. Problem solved. Grayl has outstanding customer service.

Love the Grayl filters. A must have in case of emergency

As a water industry professional, I am fairly picky about my water treatment systems. I picked this one because it removes protazoa and viruses in addition to bacteria (most backpacking filters just remove bacteria, and are not necessarily safe unless you have pristine sources). The inclusion of the additional treatment systems is very reassuring and I have used this filter all over the world to produce safe drinking water from international taps and backcountry rivers (even muddy ones). My only complaint is it wears out much faster than the reported number of cycles. I can only use if for about one trip (up to 10 days) before it wears out. If you are trying to prolong the life of it between short trips, make sure you store it with all the parts separated so it can completely dry, or it will mold. For me though the cost of rebuying the filter for every trip is well worth the security of having clean drinking water where ever I go. I highly recommend this product, just wanted to be open about its limitations.

Well this bit of kit is awesome, Hey this will filter bacteria viruses and all your little nasties in the water however if you're using it for tap water it might let some of the fluoride get through but will take out all the heavy metals and much more and we'll allow all the good minerals to stay in there. Plus it has a 10 year shelf life in the packet and three years if it's being used now and again unless it takes not 10 seconds but 25 seconds to push down and filter. And apparently it can last up to three freezers if it's left in your car or your camping and it freezes any more questions just ask

Always keep a spare - these things last a lot longer than you’d expect and filter out more water than it says. It just takes longer to filter the more ‘used’ it is. But in a pinch, you’ll be able to filter water even with a well used filter. This brings me comfort, I hope it does for you too.
