This is much better in person.
The description and pictures of this product don’t do it justice. It was a little tricky to get to where you insert the batteries at first. I got this for my son for Christmas and he is obsessed with it. It’s loud enough, but not too loud. It looks very cool when it lights up, it’s not insanely heavy or too light, and will hold up even for a kid who is a *little* rough. I think it’s fun even for an adult to add to their collection or use for a costume, maybe.

Sounds and lights are awesome
The media could not be loaded. This thing is so cool! Bought it and the Thor costume for Christmas for our almost 5 year old grandson. He loved it. He’s not thrilled with the thunder and lightning sounds so he plays with it with the sound off. I’m sure he’ll eventually come around to turning the sound on.

The best gift for Thor fan
Bought as a gift for my fiancé. He loves it so much! Awesome weight and great sound. Perfect accessory to go with his Thor costume and also in his marvels collection.

Great for cosplay, FYI display mode is non-existent
Just received this and 100% love it. It’ll be a nice add to my Thor cosplay at the next ComicCon. Overall it looks good and has some heft to it so it doesn’t feel like cheap plastic. My only complaint (and its a big one) is that the “Display Mode” is a joke. The hammer will stay lit for approximately 60 seconds and then go dark. This seems like a terrible design choice and maybe future versions will fix this. Otherwise I’m happy with it though.
