Classy and minimalist case. Very light and thin, but seems like it would still have decent protection. Doesn't snag or grip like rubber does when going in and out of pockets - smooth feel overall. Leather is nice to the touch. Snug fit. Worth the price.

Well, to be honest, Amazon made it so that my search didn't cost a lot of money just a little bit investment in time. I went through about 10 of these cases looking for the perfect leather case. I got some that looked executive but the durability was trash. Purchase some that had leather on the back but not on the sides. They just look cheap. Never once that I look at Samsung's cases. I always thought they looked generic, plain cases that you buy at the time of the phone purchase so that you have something to protect it when it's delivered. Then while searching Amazon, I see the Samsung case and figured what the hell. Best damn phone case what the hell moment I've ever had. This thing looks executive, premium and snaps onto your phone like a vampire that's starving. Just try to pull this case off. Durability is unmatched for a leather case. The leather wrapped all the way around the edges and is unparalleled on the leather case market. I'm going to be switching over to an s22 here pretty soon..... I verified that Samsung made this case for the smaller device before I purchased the smaller device. Hint

I bought one of these leather covers when I got the phone. It held up well for me. I decided on a new color and while it is sturdy and easy to handle, it is also classy looking with a minimalist footprint. I think I'll stick with this brand.

Bought as the description stated "A slender silhouette made of genuine leather, this case gives your phone an elegant finish to suit any style."It is just hard plastic with some very fine pebbling texture. No Leather (real or fake) at all.

This case provides a good non-slip texture, and does not impede use of the phone in any way. It's a snug fit, so it can't too easily be removed. That's a plus. I can't speak directly to it's drop protection, as I've been very conscious of the phone. In the past I've dropped very good phones and suffered cracked faces, even with shock-resistant cases. Just be careful with your phone. Accidents happen.
