FLYBOYS Map Strap

I use this to keep my checklist accessible on the left leg while I use another one on the right for my iPad! Keeps things from dropping and/or migrating around the cockpit. Great product, could be a tad small for larger pilots. I am 5’7 and 170, works great for me. If larger you can maybe get some Velcro pieces to help extend it a bit.

Great quality, held up well during initial flight training

For context: I am a military student pilot. Map straps in general are extremely helpful, but this one is one of the better ones I’ve used. It’s very durable and high quality. The thick elastic helps keep pubs or maps nicely on your thigh. The stitching and materials seem top notch. The quality is FANTASTIC, my only issues are with my specific use case. My only problems with the strap are as follows: the strap itself is a little short. The Velcro area is actually nice and long which compensates for this but I have larger legs and wear a g-suit. I am worried about being able to comfortably wear this when I fly. Secondly, the clear strap that goes over your map/pub is pretty thick. This is great because it will be very durable but I find that it’s a little tricky to get it in the right spot especially for a thicker pub. Overall, well worth the money and a great tool!

Great product. Very happy that I bought this. Made it easier for me to learn to fly since I was worried about holding my checklist.

Been using this as an alternate leg checklist holder so my knee board doesn’t have to be cluttered.
