A Remarkable Number of Seed Formed Plants
Almost all of the seed grew which is better than most corn seeds that I have purchased in the past. Though the corn is far from ready to pick, I am looking forward to the first harvest and will update the review with how the corn tastes.

This Corn Grew Great in Northern MN
I started this corn in 3 rows in a small garden immediately after night frosts had stopped. The seeds may have survived a couple of slight frosts, though I can't say for certain. They grew quickly, and I watered them about once every 3 days, with a small amount of fertilizer. My garden is in Northern Minnesota, and this was in partial shade and in sandy soil. Once it was time to harvest, the corn did get to a nice size, though they weren't fertilized fully so they all had missing kernels and 1 mutation. I assume that is due to my inexperience and the small volume of corn to allow for pollination.

not the best germination
Planted in 2024, and only had 60 percent germination. Corn produced was okay.

Requiere fertilizante
Buen Maíz pero hay que usar mucho fertilizante en suelos arcillosos, si no las mazorcas salen a mitad de tamaño normal

NOT the magical bean stalk?
But I bet this is the magical corn kernel !I paid $6.99 for 75 kernels of corn from the old farmers almanac site. What a wonderful surprise and a marvelous achievement, guaranteed to save millions of dollars in shipping costs. They have managed to reduce 75 colonels into one small container that looks exactly like one single grain of maize. This saves time and energy and money and makes writing a review a breeze too. I will get back to you with photographs of how wonderful the harvest is in about 90 days or so.I look forward to seeing this magical harvest.Recalling that, as a child, I was always discouraged from magical thinking, but I think those who discouraged me had it all wrong and the old farmers’ almanac has it rightYes.Big GRIN!

Good seed
Got these as a gift for a gardener I know. they were going for the 3 sisters planting and being heirloom they should be able to save back viable seed for the next planting. They report that the seeds germinated well, seedlings are strong.
