Ideal 61-757 - 600A AC/DC TRMS TightSight Clamp Meter

As far as functionality goes, this meter is top notch. The selector wheel is buttery smooth, and every function delivers an accurate reading as measured against my Fluke, Klein and Extech devices. True, it beeps a lot for just everything (like my Extech), but this is hardly a turn-off, considering its multiple strengths. A good value for the money.

I am impressed with the accuracy of this meter. It feels solid, well made. The leads are pretty good as well. I don't like the NCV function as it has been somewhat unreliable not always detecting voltage when there is voltage. I even put new batteries in but that didn't help. I was a bit disappointed initially when I used the ohm function and the continuity buzzer buzzed constantly while reading resistance. If you read the directions, it tells you simply to press the select button to use it for resistance measurements and no buzzer. All in all, I Think it is a good meter. I have 2 fluke meters but neither has the clamp on amp meter which is why I bought this meter and am satisfied.

Works great and easy to use. The dial is easy to manipulate. You can also look at the readings in two positions. The clamp is strong and accurate. Comes ready to use and has everything you need to know that your project will be successful Great price too.

This meter comes with every feature under the sun and the bottom screen is just the icing on the cake. I gave it a 4 because I had to buy a strap for an additional 15 dollars and it’s not a universal fit.

I am thoroughly impressed with this new multimeter model. It is extremely user-friendly and has an overall design that is very appealing. Having previously owned the first version of this multimeter, I can confirm the advancements in the newer model, such as the optional display screen at the bottom. However, I do miss a feature from the older version. The previous multimeter had a vibration alert when it sensed voltage, which the new model lacks. Despite this, it remains a solid purchase and continues to be an excellent tool. Overall, the improvements in the design and functionality make it worth considering, even though the absence of the vibration feature is a minor drawback. This multimeter is a reliable and efficient choice for anyone in need of a high-quality device.
