FoodSaverReusable Gallon Vacuum Zipper Bags

I have used these multiple times each, hand-washing them between uses, and have yet to have one fail!They're exactly the right size for the drawers in my freezer (which now looks like a vertical filing cabinet) and hold wet or dry contents securely.

convenient for leftovers. Sometimes it seems to not seal so good and other times no problem but beats getting the machine out and cutting a bag for some leftovers

I had to get some vac bags since I bought a small handheld Vacuum system for the home. They are better than expected, but be aware they are not the flimsy things you would expect. They are a pain to get open and shut but, they hold their vaccuum exceptionally well. I'll buy again!!

I buy frozen pizzas quite often and I always rearrange all the toppings that have fallen off in transit. Before I put the pizza back in the freezer I decided to try and put it in one of these FoodSaver gallon-sized bags but the width of the bag was about an inch, too small. The particular bags I have are 11 inches wide by 14 inches deep. I just wish these bags were a little more square in shape, so they would work with more items. And from my own research, FoodSaver doesn't seem to make any larger, reusable zipper bags. Other than that though, they work great!

I love these bags. I have never had any leakage as long as that little handy dandy tool that comes with them, that assures a great seal gets used. I use that tool for all of my zip lock bags now!If someone got leaks, either they didn’t use the tool, or food got onto the zipper track, preventing a good seal.They’re not always easy to clean, but with some small brushes, to get food out of the corners and around the vacuum port, they will come clean. I have air sous vide in my oven, and use these bags for burgers, steaks, chicken.

I have to buy my elderly cat special prescription dry cat food that only comes in LARGE, expensive bags. My cat stops eating it when it gets stale so these bags make it possible to keep the food fresher longer and I don't have to throw away expensive, stale food.

I started making my dogs food about 6 months ago and was going thru a lot of ziploc bags. Decided to buy these zippered reuasable food saver bag. They are easy to use (just use the included black zipper tool to ensure a good seal). I used the accessory attachment on my food saver and it worked great. So far have used to store/freeze ground beef and carrots. Will also use for freezing cooked rice. Highly recommend so far. Have not tried to wash and reuse them yet. Will update review if they do not hold up.

Leak. Do not hold seal. Keep having to reseal them after a couple weeks.
