Deep Learning with Applications Using Python: Chatbots and Face, Object, and Speech Recognition With TensorFlow and Keras

I found this book very useful in getting a good understanding in a very practical way with hands-on examples. I particularly value the pragmatic approach. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who wants to quickly apply deep learning approaches to their applications.

This book could be rightfully classified as scam. The first half of the book is basically copy-and-paste from public Keras and Tensorflow documentation. The book description claims that you will learn how to build facial recognition models, speech-to-text and chatbots among other things. The reality is that the book only covers publicly available APIs that are one Google search away from any human being equipped with a computer and and internet connection. There's not even a hint of how those models are built.The sample code provided to use such APIs is virtually identical to the one found on those APIs GitHub pages. Waste of time and money.

Code examples didn't work, if you visit the github ipynb files are completely different from the code listed in the book. Very vague descriptions and the code is not very pythonic... save yourself a few $$ and google the info plenty of free resources on the web that are better than this book

A versão impressa possui caracteres na seção de código minúsculos, de leitura extremamente difícil, mesmo usando óculos para perto, o que torna o processo da leitura pouco fluido.Além disso, muito código é despejado in natura sem os devidos comentários explicativos do porquê de sua utilização, ou dos comandos utilizados.

This book has covered everything right from deep learning basis with tensor flow to application level. Every important module in deep learning is covered in this book. This book is recommended for both beginner's and deep learning practitioner as a hand book. Simple language and coding snippets makes this book more interesting. By properly following this book one can be at a position of building deep learning application confidentiality. My suggestion in buying this book, don't over think just buy it, you'll surely get satisfaction on every penny for what you have invested.

Very poor content.It doesn't cover any concept, just overview and few examples.No one can understand any topic from the book. It seems that the book is designed to pass some theoretical exam.Tensor flow, keras, neural network, python, chatbot etc covered in 200 pages only !!!!

This book has helped me understand the deep learning architectures, framework and implementation from scratch. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to understand keras & TensorFlow, implementation of image classification, face recognition, speech recognition and intent classification.Best book for beginners of Deep Learning.
