Lomanco 150-12x18 12-Inch X 18-Inch Aluminum Gable Vents Mill Finished

This is NOT white. It is mill finish aluminum. Its a little flimsy but not too bad. There are no holes for securing it. It could be mounted two different ways - flush with the louver blades inside or surface with the blades outside. You could trim out the vent if you did the surface mount. Screen came with but is not attached which is weird.

I painted and installed replacing a plastic one that the squirrels chewed up. It made a nice installation and you can see where a squirrel has tried to chew on the new aluminum one, but gave up.

What a disappointment. One vent arrived intact but the other, not so much. The plastic packaging for other vent was torn open and the included screen was badly mangled. It'll be tough to mount the vent properly as the screen won't lie flat. Seems like this was a returned item that was handled very roughly. It should have never been shipped. I have no confidence in this merchant and will not purchase from them again.

the gable vent was very flimsy, but hey it works and it does what its suppose to do. The only thing I did not like about it is that the mesh thats suppose to be attached to it on the back to keep the bugs and critters out was not welded or attached to the vent, so I glued it with liquid nails and it been on the wall and has not fallen off!

The vent is not white as claimed in details. Also, the screen is not actually attached as others responders noted. Also, when I saw plural "vents" in the listing, I thought it would be two vents. There are only one, but to be fair, that is what is posted in the details.

kinda thin, it took the paint well, we'll see how long it holds. And it was not white like the title, bear metal like the picture, but I expected that.
