OntelProducts GOPMO2 Deluxe Gopher Pick Up and Reaching Tool Set

I usually don't review books or products, but when I came to this page to order twelve more Gophers and saw that no one had reviewed the product yet, I couldn't resist.The Gopher caught my attention one day while I was shopping at Wal-Mart and suffering with a low backache. I bought it, and now everyone in my household is hooked. My back is better, and I still find the Gopher very handy. My 8-year-old enjoys using it to sort laundry and put clothes in the washer. I use it to reach jars on high shelves in the pantry or linens stored out of reach in the closet. We've used it to pick up trash along the road.I'm buying one for all my siblings and my mother and mother-in-law for Christmas. My 80-year-old mother-in-law lives alone in her home and is stooped over with osteoporosis. I know it will be extremely handy for her.I appreciate the cleverness and simplicity of the design and the fact that it really helps lighten my load. The Gopher is easy to use, lightweight, and easy to store. I'm getting a couple of extras for our home, so I can be sure we'll have one years from now. It's a great functional product. It's a product I'm excited about!

This is my favorite tool. I hardly ever have to use a ladder any more. It can handle most items I need (not heavy items). It saves me so much time and eliminates chances of slipping on a ladder.

We have had this item before but it broke beyond repair. We reordered 2 of these and they arrived in good shape. They are back savers! I know they won't last forever but they can be repaired fairly easy when the rubber cups fall off. They come in very handy indoors and out. We have picked up hundreds of walnuts from the driveway and yard already not to mention the litterbug trash from the front pines and sidewalks.

Ever need something on the top shelf but you can't reach it? This tool is perfect for grasping things out of reach. Light weight but sturdy enough to pick up bulky boxes. This is our second one. We wore the first one out over several years.

Forgive for being Honest but I hate spending my money on things that are suppose to be helpful. So let save you money. When it came time for me to need some kind of reaching tool I did a search and found the Goopher to be a really good price and I liked that it folded in half as well. So I ordered it and it arrived pretty fast was a good thing.When I took it out of the pack and read the instructions it all seemed quite good and tried picking up different things and it held up well. When I tried reaching for things in my fridge from my wheelchair that was when I had trouble. It could not hold anything heavy like the Ketchup bottle and I did not have to much confidence with anything in a glass jar. I also tried using it on over head items and again I did have any confidence using it. About a week later I was using it again and one of the suction cups came off complete and I could not find the bolt or the nut needed to hold the cup on the reacher. Anyway in my opinion this is not worth spending your money on this, you would be better off buying a reacher at the dollar store they work much better and they are better priced and they last a long time and I can pick up a brick off of the floor and I feel confident using it.Thank You.

Purchased after seeing at my dad’s house; good reach and grip make this a must-have for those cabinets I would usually need a stepladder to access.

I had one of these that I got a Walmart several years ago that finally broke. Was glad to find one again as they aren't anywhere around anymore. at least in my area. I really like this little helper. It's not for real heavy things but it's nice to do a lot of things including reaching over to pull my curtain closed. The suction cups give me more ability than the regular "grabber". I'm hoping this one is as well made as the first one. Even if it breaks somewhere down the line, they are inexpensive and I would buy another one as long as the quality stays good...

This isn't the same as the one I have from 2 years ago. This one isn't adjusted to allow the Jaws to close properly. Don't know if this is a 2nd quality or what but I wouldn't buy this model again.

Very good quality, quite sturdy, it amazes me how many different things it picks up easily, i'm in a wheelchair & i can't imagine not having this product to use. I not only use it for things that drop on the floor anything from a piece of paper to kitchen towels, but also i pick up my cats food dish to refill & place back down on the floor.

As advertised. A godsend for my 89 year old father.
