I bought these because I thought they would look better than plastic hooks. however the part of the hook that bends up were all skewed way off center, so they look terrible, and because the steel is very hard it's not possible to bend them so that the hook part is centered unless you have the right equipment to hold them in a vise and lots of time and patience to try to bend them so that they are more centered, so they look terrible and also they also don't function optimally due to the hook being skewed to one side. Never thought it would be possible to screw up the manufacturing of hooks, but have learned once again you get what you pay for.

I tried using these to hang curtains since I can't put hole in the walls of my rental. The curtains + rod were below the specified weight for two of these hooks, but they fell down after a few days. I was able to reattach them and they didn't lose much of their adhesive, but they fell down every few days. It was always in the morning, within 15 minutes of 9AM, so I think it wasn't that they were too weak, but that they were heating up with the morning sun. Don't use these in places where the ambient temperature is going to be changing a lot, like next to a window, or over a stovetop.They also stripped the paint off my wall when I removed them manually, which is bad, but it also shows that even after reattaching them 3 times, the adhesive was still very strong. You can probably remove them by putting some weight on them and shining a heat lamp or blow dryer at them.I'm now using them to hang coats, like they're meant to, and they work great.

Glad I didn't review these right after I received them. They worked great for a couple of weeks, then I woke up one morning and my bathrobe was on the floor. Pretty sure it doesn't weigh five pounds. To be fair, I didn't wait 24 hours before hanging anything on them, nor did I heat up the adhesive with a blowdryer- those suggestions weren't in the physical package. They look nice, I wish they actually held up.

They just don't hold, they don't stick, and at aome point they fall, no matter how light what you hang on them. And the ones that didn't fall and I wanted to remove peeled the painting off the wall. They are pretty, prettier than the 3M, but I won't purchase them anymore unfortunately

These hooks are a good value and a quality product, nicer and more cost-effective than the commercial plastic hooks with removable adhesive. They are simple to install and attractive. Just peel off the backing to expose the 3M adhesive and place the hook where you want it. Then peel off the thin blue protective plastic film on the front to the hook, and you are ready to go!

After a couple of days, the first hook came off the wall, along with some wall plaster. The next day another one came off the wall. Today, one more fell. Thee were supposed to hold up to 5 lbs. They can barely hold a jacket without falling. I am just waiting for the others to fall so I can replace them with hooks that will actually work.

I use these hooks for inside cupboard doors, wherever I need a small hook. They have never fallen off. I don't put very heavy things on them, so don't know how they would stick with a lot of weight. They do what I bought them for.

Went on easy but fall off just as easy. They'll stick as long as you don't add so much as a robe to weigh them down. I even tried using two so it would split the weight of said robe and that didn't work either. Waste of money.
