Product is similar to the one. My grandmother bought years ago it works just as well if not better
I have wanted a nonpolluting cleNer There has more than one use. I tried putting a small amount in a squirt bottle to square on some tile that i've been having some trouble with the grout. A small amount of scrubbing in its gone.I'm gonna make something that would help the laundry. There was none polluting I would be able to get rid of odors. This worked perfectly.I even try the solution with this to clean carpets on my carpet cleaner and guess what? It got some stains out that I've been fighting. When one item can replace several It is a winner to me. Anything that will bring less clutter under my sink I love.

Not just for laundry!
I know this used for laundry but I discovered a detox bath. Including this, magnesium bath flakes, baking soda and Aztec clay. It helped my kids cold go away after a few soaks :) and they slept so well afterwards

Effective against ants invasion, and great for laundry
I had an ant invasion that was uncontrollable. So, I bought this to do a little mixture of peanut butter and borax, and it worked to reduce the invasion. Other than this, I had a lot left, so I also used it in my laundry. I noticed that it did seem to lift off stains more easily from the clothes. I'll buy again as needed both for ants and laundry. lol!

BETTER than reg laundry detergent!! YES.
One of the top Google results for a homemade laundry detergent recipe has blown my mind. WAY BETTER THAN ANY COMMERCIAL DETERGENT!!Recipe :1 cup of borax1 cup of washing soda1 cup of liquid Castile soapI mix the two powders together and put in a container, then have the liquid Castile soap in one half the size so I usually remember how much to use. Just 2 tablespoons powder and 1 Tbl liquid. For larger loads double that. I wash in warm or cold all the time and this works. Works in hot too I just really do that.Don’t fuss with boiling water and diluting it, just use less and add to the laundry water!🤷♀️I had my doubts. But I’m SOLD. There are ZERO smells when sniffing even old socks coming out of the dryer. And you know that instinct thing that kicks in with smelling say outdoors in nature, something in your subconscious knows it’s good and clean? I swear this sounds like a commercial, but that is what happens when I sniff my clothes after it comes out using this natural stuff!I think our instinct subconsciously tells us that the scented commercial crap has bad stuff in it because I don’t have that instinct when I smell that, no matter how pleasant it’s fragrances are.….I checked, this is the cheapest 100% borax on Amazon. If you want to spend almost twice as much, get the brand in a paper bag, exactly the same thing just in a paper bag! Lolol. After New York State band Tide, Gain, Arm and Hammer, and other laundry detergents (with 1,4-dioxane in it), and given I’ve suffered from an auto immune disorder for decades, I was going to try this. It’s been a year now and I will NEVER use any commercial detergent ever again! It may be a few pennies more a load, but it’s pretty insignificant. Now onto dishwasher detergent… I just bought this bag again to try that since top detergent pods (like Finish, which I use) are endocrine disruptors (means your hormones, especially you kids and women out there!!), and no matter how well it’s rinsed, apparently there is a residue that’s left. ESPECIALLY if your water doesn’t get really hot, or maybe your dishwasher doesn’t work as well as it did.I’ll update this in a few months :D
