Excellent performance
I purchased this product to clean the copper bottoms of our Revereware pots and pans. It worked better than I’d imagined and there is no mess as is usually the case when using other products.

Scent? What?
The review asked me about scent. I put 5 stars but these don’t smell like anything. It would be weird if they did. But they do scrub! The bottoms of my pans are as shiny as when I bought them now! Yay!!

Use on stainless steel pots when comet is not enough
I got these to clean a stainless steel pot that I let boil until it had a hard black coating I could not scrub off, and Comet wasn't able to do the job. It saved my pot. These sponges have a hard abrasive that is silicon carbide (close to diamond in hardness) so it is good for scrubbing out a tough stain but it will leave a pattern of scratches you will need to try to buff out with comet and steel wool. DO NOT use on Teflon enamel, glass, plastic, granitestone or anything but bare metal stainless steel with burned on deposits. It is not a sponge for everyday cleaning. It might be good for woodworking or buffing calluses off your feet

I like my pots and pans extra clean, like, shining... A good sponge will do the work, this is not it...It will not scrub as described but can be used too wash dishes
