This hitch is the best thing I ever added to my truck, install went exactly like described in videos and it is solid. I have been towing my 16,000 lbs 5th wheel with it for a few months now and everything is solid. The only hiccup was it is so heavy the delivery person must have had a hard time lifting the box so it was torn open from where it looks like they drug it and some parts were missing. When ordering from Amazon CURT won’t replace missing parts but they will stand behind the warranty. Amazon can’t just send the missing parts so they sent me a whole new hitch, I took the parts I needed and sent back the rest. It was a bit of a pain but all returns were free to me so I didn’t mind.

First time ordering Curt. I pulled a gooseneck trailer with the new curt and there seemed to be allot of play in the hitch. I am looking to actually pull the curt hitch out after one use and replace with B&W. I have never had a problem with B&W. Poor tolerances in the manufacturing. The manufacturer uses thin boxes to package very heavy pieces. Amazon shipped 3 times and only pieces of each order made it, Took me more than a month to get all the pieces. I contacted Curt Manufacturing directly and this was an even worse experience than the shipping. Save yourself some time and go with B&W. The B&W does not have as much looseness to the parts which will cause the trailer to make allot of banging noises at the hitch when braking and accelerating.

This ships in two packages. I only got one. It took me a month to get to attempting the install and find out. Sought out support and am waiting. I have a hitch but no way to mount it.

The kit fits many years of vehicles and generations of trucks, instructions are complicated.. I’m an extremely sharp mechanic and so is my business partnerTook 4 hours1/2 of that was just figuring out if it was the correct parts sent..

Works great. I installed it myself with no assistance, took me about 8 hours total (and yes, I have very good mechanical skills). The instructions take some time to figure out. I recommend reading through them a few times before you do the install but it is doable.

This install took me 3.5-4 hours without using a lift. Followed the YouTube video and it went very smoothly. The hardest part of it is installing the rubber seal around the hole in the bed. Looks like a good solid hitch. Time will tell.

fit well a bit of work to install but works vary well

The product is nice and heavy and in there lies the problem when it's really heavy to work with and holes don't line up it's enough to almost take it out and scrap it make my own at least things would line up
