I got this for my boyfriend as a Christmas gift and he said it was the best gift. I ended up buying all 8 books of the same design. He is an absolute nerd for The Witcher and loves the red and white design. It only sucks because the cover does contain the “Netflix” advertisement and Netflix did not do any justice to the series, but nonetheless it provides the original story.

It's an amazing series at a great price

After watching the Netflix series with my boyfriend he mentioned he was going to have to play the game because of how much he enjoyed it. With Xmas coming up, I decided to get him these as he's also a big reader. Took him about a month but he finished all the books and has already ordered (and almost finished) the other 3 books in the series. He still hasn't played the game(s), but he thoroughly enjoyed the books. I haven't read them, but based on what he says, if you liked the show you'll LOVE the books.

Purchased this for my ex husband for Christmas who was a huge fan of the Witcher video games. He said the books are slightly different but they are a great read and are highly recommended for fans if the Witcher franchise especially if you love to read and want more background on the characters.

Kinda heartbroken. The pages themselves are in perfect condition. However one of the books looks like someone scratched the cover multiple times, and the spine is crushed. The box for the set has damages on every side. It didn't come packaged well at all. Just the set, inside an amazon box. No wrap or filler. That's the only reason for 4 stars. Otherwise, the books are pretty and I can't wait to read and add to my collection. For $34, it seems like a pretty good deal for 5 books. Once I read a little bit, I can update on the storyline and characters.
