Zoo med moonlight Reptile bulb simulates night time moonlight viewing of your terrarium animals. Perfect for viewing and heating nocturnal reptiles and amphibians. Very little visible light provided so as not to disturb your animal's sleeping patterns. European quality for a long burn life. True deep Blue Glass (not painted or coated). Review: This bulb is just what we were looking for. It provides a good amount of heat (I keep it on the cool side) for my ball python to supplement her under-tank heating pad. I like that it gently lights the tank so I can see it at night. I put the bulb in a clip-on lamp and keep it on all the time. It’s been a couple months and no problems yet! Review: my lizzy, maximilius prime the first, loves this mf lamp

Have gotten a few of these, I use the 40w in winter and the 25w in the summer. 40w is quite a bit brighter and warmer, so if you are going for a true nighttime feel the 25 is probably the best option as long as you also have a heat mat. My leopard gecko basks in them occasionally when he's out from the rock cave so he seems to like the brightness level, and I can actually see him climbing around at night. Have gotten a few and none have come broken, great quality!
