La Crema Coffee Birthday Cake, 12-Ounce Packages (Pack of 3)

I have tried several flavors of La Crema Coffee and love them all so far. The birthday cake flavor does have a nice buttery sweet fragrance. It tastes like a nice, smooth coffee with a cake-y buttercream aftertaste. I do make my coffee in a french press using a cold brew methods to reduce the acid and make iced coffee or lattes. Perhaps that makes the flavors stronger than traditional hot coffee? I also enjoy mixing the coffee with a splash of flavor syrup or flavored creamer in addition to milk. It seems to enhance the existing flavor in the coffee. Also for the price (especially if it's a Warehouse Deals closeout)it's a great deal and makes a wonderful gift. I have not purchased another brand of coffee since discovering La Crema over a year ago.

In the past I had purchased a bag of another co's Birthday Cake coffee and it was beyond delicious, especially when mixed with other flavored coffees. I got this in hopes... but it doesn't taste like anything except plain old coffee. I was expecting too much I'm sure but it could have had a little taste to it - the description sounded tasty - but the product? Not so much :(

I too had a different company's Birthday Cake coffee and loved it. I was so happy to find this product, thinking it would be similar to the one I had a few months ago. This coffee has absolutely no "vanilla & creamy butter flavor" as stated on the package, it just tasted like plain coffee. I'm so sorry that I didn't read the previous review entitled "huge letdown" because this coffee certainly was a disappointment.

Terrific! Only thing is that I can't buy one at a time for freshness.

This was a gift and she was absolutely over the moon and says it is the best coffee to date!!

This coffee is delicious, just as described by the manufacturer, and the packaging looks great too. The taste is warm, light, and sweet, without being overwhelmingly flavored or tasting "burnt".
