Very low height but overall product is good

I broke the board trying to install it.
There were the ends of screws missing, the part which goes into the wood ends for you to be able to screw it in. I didn't realise initially they didn't give it and tried to screw it in by force and broke it, I saw it in one piece just for one hour after it was delivered.
