Magnetic as needed
Most stainless steel is barely magnetic enough for my application: Making a quake-proof plinth for an antique vase. This worked perfectly with a big hidden fishing magnet. No fasteners come with it, which most of you will need, but I knew that.

Heavy duty, great quality
We are using this to replace a plastic beaded chain that kept breaking. The quality of this looks good so we are hopeful.

Worked as stated
We have 290 guest rooms that have a minimum 2 windows most have three corner rooms have six windowseach window has a Roll ease sheer and black set up each window requires two sets of chains. with that said we will always be needing ball chain as each guest has a different idea on how the rollups work. Same as comment above the ball chain works as should.

Bought to use as a pull-tool for electrical work.
If you've done your own electrical work in your home, you're likely familiar with fish-tape pull tools for pulling wires through walls. I recently saw a YouTube video from "How to Home" that showed how to use pull chain to do vertical pulls. I purchased this roll of oversize pull-chain to do just that and it works great. I also adapted the technique to pull through the braided water line for our frig's ice/water.
