AKONA Commuter Backpack, Laptop, Travel Case

Absolutely love this backpack! It has lots of pockets from very large to small. I ordered a second one for my husband!

Love this backpack!! Very roomy and all the pockets are great to organize things. I love that Akona added the Dive Flag to this bag for us Diving enthusiasts.

I loved the concept and the layout of the bag, but the materials were cheap. The shoulder strap began to separate from the top of the pack the very first time I used it. I picked it up and slung it over my shoulder. While doing that I heard a tearing sound which was the stitching of the shoulder strap tearing through at the point it attached to the top of the pack. While I have been a long time fan of Akona products over the years, the outsourcing to China or wherever, has shown up in the continued decline in quality over the last few years.

I saw this backpack at a raffle at my local dive shop. I wanted to win it so bad but didn’t. I bought it and thought it was perfect for my carryon for a trip. Unfortunately the quality just wasn’t quite what I’d expect. The loop with the d ring broke after one or two days. The zipper pulls frayed badly right away.Unfortunately even though it held my stuff well, I have to return it due to the quality.

This back pack is crap. I noticed the zipper tear in the second photo within days of receiving it and the shoulder strap tear after just two weeks of use. I will be returning this and not buying another.
