I’ve put these on my old and heavy Startrite 14 S 5 bandsaw and they’re great. Providing manoeuvrability but also stability when the feet are screwed down. I use these on a fairly flat, coated/painted garage floor. They take the weight of the bandsaw fine. Highly recommended.

This is fine for the purpose I bought them for, which was a stand for a circular saw that needed to be moved very occasionally. However the way of raising the wheels is tedious and I wouldn't want to do it frequently. Other casters have a latch mechanism which is better, but they are a bit more intrusive.

Expensive, but very robust set of wheels. Added to the legs of a 4040 extruded aluminium desk by tapping a 10mm thread to their core.The orange disk is rotated to raise or lower the rubber foot. It takes several turns to lift it up onto the wheels, so it’s not something you would want to do every day, but fine if you just need to move occasionally.

Purchased these casters for a heavy duty work bench. They look well made. The body looks as if it is made of cast iron and the adjuster turns smoothly. very pleased with them.

Design allows wheel to lift off the floor for secure storage. This is achieved with an internal threaded jack operated by a thumb wheel. If everything was scaled up it would probably be satisfactory but as it is, it's difficult to operate when running near to designed working load. Would have preferred a thumb screw with built in holes for turning with a tommy bar or perhaps a finer thread. The 2" wheels need to be run on a solid smooth surface. Still a good design, built to a good standard.

Easy to fit, smooth quality action in both rolling resistance and swivel. Fitted to machinist bench supporting milling machine, small lathe with associated tooling. Movement true, precisely controllable, accurate leveling - a couple of flicks of the thumb with a substantial load. Quality!

Excellent build quality. Very strong. Need to supply your own screws. I used 5.0 x 40 or 50mm. There will be some leverage on the castor during moving so needs a secure fixing. Especially on uneven garage floor. I’ve fitted them to a heavy work bench I built. Now it can easily be moved to work from all sides before putting back against wall. Levelling rubber sturdy enough to resist sideways forces from carpentry work. Easy to make level where floor is uneven. I’ll certainly use them again on another project I have.
