It works fine.
It charges my toothbrush reliably, which is much more than I can say for my old toothbrush charger. Powering it from USB is a plus because I don't need to worry about adapters for other countries.I have an Oral-B Professional Care 1000/Braun type 3756 toothbrush, which used an irregularly shaped pillar. This charger base has a cylindrical pillar, which allows my toothbrush to wobble around significantly when placed on it. Also this charger weighs VERY little, which could be a plus for some people, but it makes it easier for the toothbrush to fall over if it's touched. It came with an iPhone charger cable instead of a USB cable for some reason. I wouldn't trust cheap cables like that anyways, so I didn't care that they didn't give me the right one for this device, but be aware that they won't give you the right cable for it. (it requires a micro-USB cable)Overall, I'm happy with replacing my old charger with this one. The wobblyness isn't a big deal because I don't bump it, and the upside is that it's great for travel.

Perfect for travelling
When travelling internationally, charging my electric toothbrush was a PitA. Of all the items we travel with, the toothbrush charger was the last item that wasn't universal voltage. So, just for toothbrush, we had to travel with a voltage converter as well. Or spend $20 for a 220V charger. [I know that's the definition of a first-world problem, forgive me.]Anyway, this item solves it. It takes a micro-USB cable, which we already travel with anyway to charge everything else. The unit itself is very small, and takes almost no extra room when packing. Charging is slow, but does not seem any slower than the plug-in one.I wish I had found this years ago.NOTE: mine did NOT come with a cable. Which is fine by me, as I have no lack for Micro USB cables.LATER EDIT: After several more trips with this, still happy with it. The build quality is rather low, so I wouldn't recommend this for daily use. But for travelling it's ideal.

Some one else who got the wrong cable.
From reading the reviews, it looks like I'm not the only one who received the wrong cable. They must have an over abundance of iphone cables!

Failed after 12 months.
Mine lasted just a few days over a year. USB connector eroded at the base from moisture since the connection is not waterproof. Not a good idea when the charger sits on a bathrroom sink countertop.

Good replacement pair
It is working fine with my electric toothbrush. It does not come with its own power cord. Fortunately, we have several old cell phone power cords that work fine with it.

Charges your toothbrush overseas.
This is the only option I know of to charge one of the oral-b brushes which charges via a recess in the base of the brush without hauling around the clunky original charger which is generally not dual voltage. Its slower than the original but does keep the brush from running down. Construction is not super but ok if you treat it with respect.

Faulty cable (Updated: now it's not working)
It is working fine with mine. However, I got to minus 2 stars because faulty cable and inaccurate picture. The cable is not braided, quite generic looking, and it is not working!* UPDATED:Down to 1 star. I plugged in for 24 hours and it is still blinking => not fully charged. It either charges super slow or is slowly dying.
