I have been a vegetarian, and a vegetable lover all my life. I have gotten to know both Beano and Bean-Zyme and have stuck with Bean-Zyme because of it's great value. Lately I have noticed something's amiss. The little tablets no longer perform. Their quality has decreased so that I might as well not be taking them. That's my personal experience after longtime use, if it helps. I will now set sail, drifting through and sampling all the old and new products that assist vegetable lovers everywhere.

I wouldn’t be able to eat beans without this product. I take five or six pills each time I eat beans. Sure is a lot cheaper than the mainstream product.

I’ve been using this for years. This stuff really does work but the amount is super important. When the instructions say to take one tablet per serving I find that to be quite a joke: With any substantial meal containing things like onions, garlic, broccoli, etc I find I need to take between 5-8 pills. At that dose the effects are remarkable and can usually make the difference between misery and comfort for many hours after the meal. But one pill dues absolutely nothing. And the difference is really a step function between 3-4 pills doing little to nothing vs sufficiently more. It is not gradual. It really seems to be a threshold. Not sure why this is but it is.
