I like the size and that this has flannel board on one side also. I was annoyed at first because I imagined the stand being one I could just put together and then flip as I wanted to use each side. But then I realized i have to simply switch them a bit when I want to change sides. I got over the annoyance because this really isn't too difficult. The thing is though that I had to go back to the picture of the item in my order to see how to place the stands. The directions that came with it only said how to take off the plastic before using and showed how to put the marker tray on, which I don't intend to use anyway. However, even though the directions did not show how to put the whiteboard/flannel board on the stands, it was easy to see how to with the picture of the product. I got this because I need to teach at home and thought this would be a good way to share visuals with my students. Looking forward to using it.

Not too big, not too small (like many I looked at were) - just right for my small preschool classroom! I finally found what I was looking for and so far it’s working out great!

Great Story Board. Perfect size and very sturdy

I have had this item requested by several of the teachers in my school. They love the smaller, portable size and the fact that it can be placed on a table top or on the floor. Perfect for circle time. Hard to find one side flannel these days.

We use the board by laying it on the floor, four-year-old twins love writing/drawing, using magnetic letters, and telling stories with the flannel board side. We've used it (and abused it) for over a year, and it's holding up well. We occasionally use a spray cleaner designed for wipe boards to keep it clean, but day to day we just use paper towels to clean off the markers.

First of all it does not quite measure 18 inches, it's a little less. It does have a nice felt side and the magnetic dry erase side looks good. It's not very sturdy and way more expensive than it should be for this quality. I need it for work and will keep it but I'm so disappointed with the price I paid.

Stand and marker holder are difficult to assemble.

I was disappointed in the quality of this item. It was very flimsy for the price. In addition, I was expecting a magnetic flannel side to the booard........It was not. Cetainly not worth the money.
