I've bought these several times now, to have enough to cover different parts of my yard. My neighbor's precious cats, that they seem to buy more and more of, love our yard more than their own, and I'm sick of it. They use our yard as a litter box and stalk the birds we feed.I like these devices because you can charge them and don't have to rely on the solar feature (which does seem to help keep them charged, as long as they're in the sun of course). They're easy to use, with basically just two knobs to turn. I walk in front of them to make sure they're working, and I can see the lights respond if they are. My son says he can hear the sound, too (but older ears can't).I did hold back one star because although I see the cats less than before (and I'll take that), I do still see them in the yard sometimes. I don't know if they get used to the sound, don't care, or some are deaf. They may be working out where to walk to not trigger the devices, so I recommend moving them around sometimes.

I bought these to deter neighborhood cats from using my garden and yard as their personal bathroom and hunting grounds. I set them up with a trail cam to see how well they worked. To date they have not worked on the cats, who don't seem to even notice them, even when I can see by the trial cam that the units are working (lights flashing at night). However, a raccoon made its way into the yard and at first didn't notice the unit. But as it got right up to it, suddenly freaked out and high tailed it out of the yard. I think this would also work for opossums because they are very shy but it is not working on the cats so far. I had to send my first batch back because one was defective out of the box. Second batch is ok and I might keep them - but they didn't work like I had hoped - on cats. Still, the raccoons mess with the pond so there is some usefulness to them.

I purchased this product to keep my dogs away from a garden. The dogs hate the sounds so much that they would back up even with a sight of device. I charged the devise initially to full charge and hoped that solar would take care of the power thereon. However, I have to recharge using USB every 4-5 days. Half day of sun is apparently not sufficient to charge through solar.

Squirels like to get in potted plants on porch. This device does a pretty good job of keeping them away when it's right by the pot (2 feet) -- and when it's fully charged. The solar charger doesn't work well so I have to charge by USB every 3-5 days. That's annoying.

The first item sent to me was obviously returned by someone before me. The packaging inside the box was missing (i.e. plastic bag covering each item) and the charging wires were scattered among the box. I decide to try to charge the solar repellers anyway —-one of them refused to charge. I have since received a replacement for the item by Amazon and the NEW item was well packaged and each repeller charged completely. I am looking forward to placing them in my backyard..

Right away we noticed that one of the detectors didn't charge well during the day. We had fully charged both units before we set them in the garden. For the one that didn't seem to be charging in sunlight, we brought it in an charged it in the house. It seemed to work a little better for a couple of weeks. Now the defective unit seems to stay on all night after charging in the house about every other day. All in all it has kept the deer out of our beans.

Bought these to deter animals setting off motion alerts on security cameras. I have had racoons walk right past these and not seemed to be phased as seen on the video. I have tried different settings as suggested by manual so they do not get use to it. Overall activity has been down though so not sure if coincidence or they are actually working.The other major complaint is the solar charging as mine will drain the battery and then just sit and beep while in full TX sun. The beep is indication the charge is not enough to do anything and will beep, run out charge, charge a bit, run out..... Support says needs 8-12 hrs of full sun a day but suspect needs more. For now, I turn off and let them charge for few days before turning back on but it is a bit of hassle and I suspect most people will be mounting these in partially shaded areas where the varmints will travel.

I think the product works, but one unit won't charge with the solar panel. The other's range is about 1/2 the advertized distance. So I requested two more as replacement....which came yesterday. So we'll see if these are are better

Messi insieme sono efficaci se si ha l'accorgimento di cambiare gli ultrasuoni sul pannello
