It seems the cleaning filter lasts longer than the odor filter, but both go for several months with constant use in our bedroom.

Great price, but do they work the same?
I bought my air purifier years ago and used it for one lifecycle of the air filters, so about 6 months. I left it running all the time and when I came home from work the air was noticeably different smelling. It smelled good. Fresh maybe.The unit itself is $175, but the filters are close to $100. You need two different types of filters which are over $100. I believe I bought a replacement once, but never bought them again.Recently, I saw a Bed, Bath, and Beyond store closing and everything was 30% off. Even with the discount the filters still cost more than these Amazon replacements, so I decided to finally give them a try after having them on my wishlist for years.Do they fit? Yes. Do they work? I'm not sure. My unit works fine and doesn't say I need to replace the filters, however, when I come home my room doesn't have that same "smell" I had when using the Homedics brand filter.Does it mean my old bedroom was that much dirtier or does it mean the generic brand filters don't do as good of a job? I am not sure.I gave them almost 5 stars.. value is great, they do work.
