Super easy setup, durable
Assembly was as straight forward as it gets, i opted for using a 2x4 instead of their steel pole. Got one 2x4 and cut in half for two good height stands. Have put about 2000 rounds into it and besides the paint you cant tell at all. Will be buying more in the future.

Works fine. Angle was 11.
The silhouette hangs at a downward angle measured at 11 degrees. Put in a beveled washer to correct to 20. Assuming that matters to you. 20 degrees would be safer when firing upon this target at shorter distances. This AR500 steel had no divots after being hit with FMJ 9mm and 22lr at 25 yards. The orange plate swings back and forth adequately when struck. Some assembly is required. You will need a 4 ft long 2x4, or cut the wood to whatever height you choose. Will also need a drill in order to make 2 holes to mount the steel holder, and a set of wrenches or an adjustable wrench. 3/4 inch sized wrench needed to tighten the nut that fastens the large carriage bolt holding up the plate. Thankfully hardware was provided and nothing was missing. Kit comes with one Allen key. This kit is a bargain at half the price of similar sized AR 500 3/8 inch steel targets+ stands. Also know that these are not rimfire targets, so don't expect rimfire calibers like 22lr to hit with enough force to swing the orange circle gong, as this kit is not made with lighter steel found on rimfire targets.

Good for the price
I took this out shooting for the first time and it performed great, the stand is sturdy and never got knocked over. I have two gripes with this target: the first is that as you can see in the picture it does get dimples from .223 at 10yds. Not the end of the world but something to note. The other gripe is that the hostage swinger kinda sucks - it will swing from side to side just from hitting the big plate half the time just from force transfer. It will also sometimes get knocked into a position where it’s facing perpendicular to the main target, where you can’t see it . You just need to hit the main plate a couple more times and it will settle onto one of the sides. Again, not a deal breaker for price.

Better than paper targets. Key like paint matches.
Works and does what it’s intended to do. Stand is easy to assemble but requires something to really hold it down if your going to be leaving it up or on unstable ground. Couple chunks of block worked for me. Happened to have a can of rust oleum key lime paint that I noticed looked close. Ended up being a near perfect match for the factory color. Hostage target is a blast and I like the pressure of putting a round there as practice. It certainly works with 22lr but doesn’t reliably flip from side to side which is understandable as it’s really designed for larger rounds. Just wish they would have cut the round pieces that hold it on smoother. Looks like they are cut with a torch or plasma and are very rough which interferes with its moving. Already bought a 1/2 inch silhouette target to be able to switch targets and for the big rounds which is equally great.

The base is borderline useless
I'm sorry, but the target base is not built to deal with rifle fire. Comes without decent instructions to where you are borderline guessing and eventually just build it how you assume it goes. I wish I wouldn't have bought this. I tried to save a little money and not use reputable steel target brands and regret. I am writing this as I am going to find my post hole diggers and am going to just eliminate the base all together and bury the 2x4. Not happy. Have assembled too much to request a refund it is too big and heavy to try and deal with it all. Yes, I have bought and shot many targets and this is a joke of a target stand. Want a refund.
