I live in a tiny studio apartment, and when I was cleaning out my closet, I found evidence of mold and a lingering musty smell in the closet. (I have to mention that I do have water lines running through my closet, so there is definitely moisture in there when I have the closet door shut). Every few months I would clean - mold would come back - clean again - mold would come back. I got tired of it!! I am SO glad I found these, and I wish I had used them sooner. Each of these moisture absorbing bags says that they can last about three months before the liquid bag fills up - and thats exactly what happened! It literally sucked all of the moisture in the closet (very fast at first) and the bag took about 3 months to fill completely. It's very gross yellow-ish gray water in the bag. The bag also has a scent thats similar to a cleaning product or laundry detergent which is nice; its a pretty strong scent at first but it dissipates after a while. I am planning on putting another one of these moisture bags in my coat closet - the closet that I shove my wet winter coat and wet shoes in everyday; another mold prone area. Basically once the bag fills up with water, just throw it away and put another bag in there - that's it!

We live in high humidity Louisiana. I buy these every couple of months in bulk and hang them in the closets. They work great. The moisture is pulled into the bag and when they're full we take them down and put new ones in.
