My son really wanted the globe and light up kit, so saved for ages, it does look awesome now it's altogether and all in, less than a day to build and then add the lights. Not the easiest job, following the instructions, but they were well detailed and mostly, the wires are hidden. My son thinks it's awesome and to be fair, I think it looks pretty good too I guess the only real issues were small wires that weren't always "made to measure", so had extra fiddly wire to try to loop in/hide behind bricks...

Challenging enough to keep my son busy for some 8-10 hours distributed in different days. He loves his lego and this was a nice piece as he loves geography.

UPDATE: Some of the lights have already died and do not light up. This, in my opinion, is a waste of money. My son used his own money for this and he's really irritated with them. DO NOT RECOMMEND.This light kit for LEGO The Globe 21332 is actually really neat once installed. The instructions are not entirely clear, but you kind of get the hang of it after a few pages. It looks really cool lit up, but there are a few issues. First, one of the globe parts rubs when you spin it. Of course, it's not really a toy and meant to just spin, but it should not rub. Second the light bars that sit on the shelf and aim up at the globe change colors. This is not an issue, but they start changing to different colors, which is. They start the same and rotate to the same colors, but then they go off on their own. It's like they have a mind of their own. It's actually frustrating. We returned the first set, only to find the second set does the same thing.Overall, three stars for the coolness factor and the fact that it works with the LEGOs, but down two just cause of the light show that it's not supposed to do.
