I did a trade for a more or less equivalent bike and got fairly new Cannondale Catalyst that need various bits of attention and repair. New cables and sheaths, a new front caliper, the proper cassette, removal of broken cable parts from the shifters, skewers for the wheels, but it was otherwise in good shape. For me a pretty normal batch of work to get a complete and completely functional contemporary bike. And of course, somewhere along the line, the previous owner had collided with something and broken off the original hanger. Previous owner had then pulled an incorrect-fit hanger out of their parts bucket and gotten it driveable, but shifting wasn't happening the way the designers had planned - not even close. I ordered this hanger early on in my repair saga, and after having taken care of all the other things, the new hanger arrived in the mail. An easy, no problem installation and now my bike shifts verrra nicely, indeed. Perfect fit, easy install, and now normalcy has returned. And aren't we all ready for a bit of normalcy? So my advice is to not mess around with any number of possible bogus hanger approximations. Get one that's correct in all ways and achieve oneness with your bike. Ommmmm.

Bought this for my 2015 Cannondale trail 2, the old one sheared off the frame. This bolted right into place. Don't assume though that it will show up perfectly straight, 15 years working in a shop and most show up with the slightest bend. Not usually a concern for 7,8 or 9sp but if you've not 10, 11 or 12 speed you'll need a derailleur alignment gauge to dial it in.

This fit perfectly. Im impressed. I hope it's as durable or more durable than the original. Im VERY pleased that it came with the screws. I lost one off of mine. The only drawback is finding the right allen wrench... 2mm was too small, 2.5mm worked but seemed to wallow out the holes and 3mm was too big... none of the standard size allen wrenches worked.
