For the price this truck is great on further review might not be that great. Raise the body post before you even run it. It runs way faster with the body raised. I also have seen videos where holes have been cut in back window of body to help with air flow. I have not done that yet worried that might weaken the shell. Shell is nice the spare tire and roof lights help protect shell when it rolls. Without them it would be lighter but again shell might take some damage. I have ran 5 battery lives through it and it has held up well with some pretty big crashes. The plastic pieces have lots of flex to them. These newer models only have 1 shell and charger just so you know. The original release had 2 each. Lights are good ran it at twilight last night and was impressed when ran during day didn't think much of them but in dark good. The top lights are a bit of a pain to hook up but when running during day I don't plug them in just hook the wire up in the clip inside the shell so it doesn't hang out of body. Also push the light bar down and push the clips through the 2nd hole in the post so the light bar doesn't rock around.All in all a great truck for the price thats the asterisk. Has good speed with the body lifted. The tires do rub the shell when it is lower. I might trim the wheel wells to eliminate the small amount of rubbing that still happens when turning. Good looking truck, my wife said wow when I 1st showed her so thats pretty high praise. Going to upgrade the battery for a little more power and speed but honestly as is its a good little truck for the $90 I paid. It is a little small for a 1:10 scale as others have noted but all in all I was happy with it.Adding to this run number 6 run front differential seems to have went out no more front wheel drive no hard bombing just driving around no big jumps or anything. Seems like alot to get in and actually see whats up with it going to have to take whole front end apart. This may or may not be worth really fixing might be just rear wheel till it dies. Okay revising again took dif apart looked okay. Replaced a axel going good again. So customer service got a hold of me and is sending some parts so thats cool. Truck is proving to be pretty durable and good customer service gets all 5 stars

I'm actually surprised at the quality of this car and, at least on a flat surface, it's as fast as they say. I needed something that could outrun, or at least stay up with, my 6 mo. old American Staffy and this car can do it! My dog is pretty fast and I have to have this car on full bore to keep up with her on slightly uneven ground. On our driveway I think it might even be able to out run her with a fresh battery! I haven't exactly abused the car but I don't baby it either and so far it's withstood a few run ins with trees and brick retainer walls! It's a pretty good item for what I needed!

I have this rc as well as a smaller one with a brushless motor. This would be wicked cool if the motor were brushless, but it's still pretty fast and easier to control offroad then the other one I purchased from these guys. It's definitely not waterproof. The esc started malfunctioning after getting wet. I let it dry for a few days and it hasn't been an issue since. The company also sent me a new esc. I definitely recommend waterproofing it. I also wish there was more protection for all those components inside because the sides of the chassis don't go very high. There is alot of debris that can get into it. Also, the steer tires will rub the cover pretty severely if you don't trim it. More recently the controller has been malfunctioning a bit and it will want to be in reverse instead of neutral. Definitely needs a larger stock battery since you'll only get maybe 30 mins out of it.So all in all it has some small issues, but having the bigger tires and wide stance has been quite fun.

I had many Rc toys before but this one has been the best. So much power , it can easily go over a pile of gravel. Faster than Expected, Battery life is great too.I would buy another as spare

The media could not be loaded. Super fun truck. Wish it had been a little faster out of the box. So I decided to upgrade it. It’s now capable of 3s usage, but 3s makes it WAY too fast with the 4300kv motor I installed. It came with a 45a ESC and was purchased here. Everything I used was from GoolRC. Super quality parts. I matched it with a Radiolink transmitter and receiver. Absolutely a beast now. I will likely downgrade the motor to a 2800kv soon it’s actually useful for more than laughs.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this RC car as a Christmas gift for my son, and he thoroughly enjoys it! The 4x4 drive makes it fast and agile, whipping around with ease, and the gas shocks improve its handling; overall, the build feels sturdy. However, the plastic body cover has a significant design flaw—it rubs hard against the wheels when turning. This constant friction, especially at high speeds, will cause the body to break down quickly. To improve the product, the manufacturer should either raise the plastic body or trim it better to eliminate the wheel rub.Given this issue, I’m hesitant to recommend it. While the sale price of $80 made it more reasonable, I wouldn’t pay the full $130, and I’m unsure I’d repurchase it at any price, knowing the body will need replacing sooner rather than later. It’s fun to use, but ultimately, the quality falls short of its cost.

I’ve had them all including Xmaxx and for the money this can’t be beat.
