I bought this Styler/Trimmer twice. In Oct 2015 and May 2022. Here are my takeaways:1. WHAT IS THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCT?What quality do you expect from Gillette? Top of the line, of course. The handle is rubberized plastic, easy to grip and non-slip. Even when using it underwater, as you can see on the photos, it still does not slip. Strong build, nothing ever breaks, it does not rust and no sharpening is necessary. It can literally last you a lifetime.2. HOW DOES THIS PRODUCT PERFORM?Performance is exceptional. As I mentioned before, no sharpening is necessary. It's exceptionally good for trimming close to the skin, without irritating the skin or cutting yourself. Since I got 2, I've been using one under the shower, and the other one for trimming my beard and trimming my neck hair.3. IS THE PRODUCT EASY TO USE?Needless to say, no instruction is necessary. I would advise buying a small bottle of lubricant (oil) and couple of times during a year, add 1 or 2 drops on the blades just to keep everything smooth. Additional combs you get in a set, are good for trimming your neck hair, but not too close to the skin.4. IS THE PRODUCT A GOOD VALUE FOR THE MONEY?For a $20 to $30 range you will not find a trimmer that will last you for 9 years, almost never cut you and does not require maintenance. I bought a rechargeable 1.5V, AA battery and I probably recharge it 4 to 5 times a year. I never tested it till the end, but probably the battery can last for 1,5 to 2 hours.5. WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO YOU?Well, with everything I described, I think it's pretty obvious that I'm planning to use these trimmers forever. Not to mention I've been using Gillette brand since the first time I shaved - 25 years ago. Highly recommend!!!

The Gillette Styler Beard Trimmer is excellent. It’s easy to use, provides a close trim, and gives great control for precise shaping. The design is sleek and comfortable, and it works well for both facial hair and body grooming. Very satisfied with this product.

I try to brush it and oil it and blow on it with compressed air. Eventually, I’ll buy a replacement which works so much better. Good item but this is the third one I’ve purchased so far (same brand, same model)

This is a great tool for your hairs. This is compact, not too noisy and easier to hold. The price is just right, and can cut the hairs quickly. This is much better than traditional razors. Highly recommend them.

Battery life is long. design is good. Function well. fair price. not heavy. good for long hair. soft in attachment. size is small.

- I purchased this back in 2020 for less than $20 on Amazon.- It's compact in size, with a single replaceable AA battery slot so you don't have to worry about degrading rechargeable batteries. It is a little loud while operating.- The only complain I have is that the gap between guard teeth is around 4mm (see pic), which seems to be 1.5mm larger than the trimming guards that came with Phillips Multi Groom 3000/5000 series.- Been using it weekly to trim a small amount of pubic hair I have down there. I did nick my ball once and that was because I was trying to get a better trimmer while pushing it down too hard with the no 1. 2mm guard. I imagine with a denser teeth on the guard it would not have happened.

It does the job. You want to cut down the forest, it will do that. The electric blades aren't a close shave, but that's what the razors are for. Good tool for a good price.
