Solid Matcha!
- Introduction -To be honest, I wasn’t that keen on buying this Matcha powder as I’ve had bad experiences with other bagged Matcha powders 😭 the serving suggestion is around a quarter to half a teaspoon of the powder, with no suggested amount of water or fluid with the serving size.- Serving suggestions -According to the nutrition facts, there are about 46 servings if you use a quarter teaspoon per serving in the bag.- Color + taste -The color I’ll say impressed me, as it was deeper than I expected it to be, and not as muddy in a way. The taste is pretty good I’ll say, and has a strong earthy flavor. As someone who is an avid cafe Matcha latte enjoyer, this powder is a pretty decent beginner Matcha to start with if you want to begin to make DIY Matcha lattes.**note that this Matcha has no added sweeteners to it. It is just the Matcha powder!*- Cost breakdown -In addition, the cost per serving is not that bad either. As of the time I bought it it was $17.99 so around $18. If I stick to the quarter teaspoon serving size suggestion, my cost per serving breakdown would be around $.39-$.40. Personally, since I like my Matcha lattes to be on the stronger side I use half a teaspoon worth, which is around $.80 for me per serving. Adding in the cost of my milk of choice (oat), creamer, and any other items that I want to add to my lattes (ie sweeteners, syrups, etc.), my cost per latte is probably around $2.70-$3.40. Compared to the average 12-16oz Matcha latte in my area, which runs me about $6-$7 dollars per cup with tax (and not including tip), this is a very good deal for me. However, I am not trying to bash on any café enjoyers. I still love a good latte and cafe study session and supporting businesses and my towns lovely baristas!- Overall -For me this Matcha is a solid 9/10, I’m not too sure if I should rate it a 10 yet since this is like the second bag of Matcha I’ve tried so far ☠️- Picture -I took a picture of what my half a teaspoon of Matcha powder looks like in around 1 ounce of water. As you can see the color is a pretty deep green. I usually add this to my oat milk, and I measure with my heart! If I had to guess I’d say I use around 6 to 8 ounces of oat milk though.

Absolute best for the price and quality
If you love the taste of good matcha but cannot afford $100/oz ceremonial, try this. It is excellent hot, as well as in lattes and frozen lattes.

Vibrant color, fresh taste - I've ordered this multple times and have enjoyed it
This matcha has a beautiful, bright color and tastes fresh. It mixes with water easily and has a nice smoothness - I just use a small battery-operated frother. This is my third time or so ordering this matcha from this brand, and I really enjoy it! I use it to make iced matcha lattes (and sometimes matcha arnold palmers) at home, and it functions well for that. Regarding caffeine content, I haven't noticed it interrupting my sleep when I have some in the afternoon the way coffee does, but I'm not sure if it's wise to have some too late in the day. I love the taste so I even have it in the evenings sometimes!

Excellent quality Matcha
I've always enjoyed green tea, and lately, I've been exploring matcha as an alternative to coffee. I was drawn to matcha for its smooth energy boost without the jitters. Finding a balance of quality and price can be challenging, but the Ujido Matcha 2oz variant has been a great option for me.The matcha powder is finely ground and mixes well, even when I prepare it in a simple way by shaking it in a water bottle. The flavor is earthy and rich, which I’ve come to enjoy each morning. For someone new to matcha, it may take some time to appreciate the taste.I’ve been pleased with the amount I received and expect it to last me 1–2 months with regular use. This has been a good choice for my matcha journey, and I’m happy with the balance of flavor, quality, and price.

Good Matcha
I tried a few other brands, but this one tasted the best. You can also tell the color is better also.

Unappealing color. Pretty good taste. Unclear value.
First off, I encourage people to avoid blends that do not clearly state the ratio of first to second harvest leaves. We do not know whether you're getting, for example, a 10% first harvest and 90% second harvest in this blend. It can be any ratio. Hence, it is unclear how much value we are getting from it. But it probably isn't a great value since cost incentivizes manufacturers to use more of the cheaper leaves in a blend. But we clearly see that this product is far more expensive than purely second harvest matcha but slightly cheaper than purely first harvest matcha. When I first opened the pouch containing this matcha powder, the color was a light, olive green--very different from the deep, vibrant green I usually saw in first harvest matcha. When I began drinking it, I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't carry the bitter taste that many second harvest powders do. However, it still lacked the rich and refreshing taste of a first harvest matcha. Hence, the taste is somewhere in the middle. In conclusion, this matcha sits in an odd place. It's middling appearance and taste render it unfit to serve to guests. It is also too expensive for daily use.
