Nice size, color isn't exactly the same as pictured. The hole on the bottom plate isn't exactly aimed upward so the incense stick doesn't stick straight up like the picture. Not big deal though.

So, there were a lot of complaints about the backflow not working with a breeze in the room, and I found that to be true, however you need to remember that the "water" is smoke, which is very light, so that is more out of user ignorance than a problem with the design.Now, to the incense. I regularly use incense. My favorite company is HEM, which it's huge selection, but Satya, is a strong 2nd, they just don't have as large a catalog. They both have strong, room filling smells which can help you relax and meditiate.This incense smells like burning paper. I actually tried two different cones of different "scents", thinking that maybe something was wrong with the first, and then I left the room and went outside to clear my nose. My office, and by extension I, reeked of the smell you get when you use newspaper to start a fireplace or campfire. I am not sure where they get their incense, from. but it is appalling.Unfortunately I purchased this as a set, and therefore am going to return it. The problem is that my reseller does not carry backflow cones. That was a mistake. As to the other uses, when I tried to burn standard sticks of Temple Incense with it, which it claims to hold, the ash ended up on my desk. It only seems to work with those short sticks they send, although I didn't try them.I will find a nice backflow burner based on it's own merits and my reseller is willing to special order the HEM incense backflow cones. I need to buy them by the case, but that is fine. At least I this caused me to resolve my supply issue.

My wife loves this, but for the waterfall effect, you have to be in a room with no moving air.

Item came with a small chip at the bottom but you can't see it when using. The waterfall affect is nice but the scents could be a little stronger. Works better in a small space. All in all I like it.

A lot of the negative reviews mention that the smoke doesn’t flow down like in the pictures. I didn’t have an issue getting the smoke to flow down. It took about a minute and a half or so but it worked. Obviously the pictures are photoshopped so it won’t look like that in reality but I expected that. Definitely worked better than most reviews stated. As far as scent goes, I can see why some people dislike it. To me, it just smells like campfire, which I actually enjoy. Bonus points for the smoke being pet-friendly. Definitely giftable as it’s a unique thing people wouldn’t think to buy. I picked the brown color to easily blend in with living room decor and it came just as expected. Overall it’s a cool addition to the mantle and I would definitely gift again.

I wish the top of the burner had been crafted with a better recess to stabilize the reverse flow incense. When trying to place the cones they tend to keep toppling over and even when you get them standing if the cone is turned at all the effect is lost.

The product itself is nice and I like it, it’s just the smell of the sticks and the cones is not good. At all. I might be over exaggerating but in my opinion I don’t like the smell, from afar it’s whatever but when you get up close to smell it, it just smells straight out bad. Overall What I’m trying to say is I’ve definitely smelt way better ones but I do like the product itself a lot.

I liked the product but had to return it because the base was broken in 5 pieces. It was not packaged properly. It should have been wrapped in bubble wrap. Sincerely, Dale Bossenberry.

I have other backflow burners and they are fantastic. I know it's not the owners fault that it arrived broken but I think they need to package them better
