False advertising!! Contains a lot of plastic
Not only are these packaged in 4 plastic boxes, but if you check the packet, it clearly states that the string is made of Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (a subset of the thermoplastic polyethylene) and the picks are made of wheat plus polypropylene. When I opened the packet, I knew straight away it was circumspect as the floss a was very plasticky, but the materials are listed in very fine print. This product is marketed as eco friendly and listed as plastic free and biodegradable - they’re anything but. It isn’t worth returning as the carbon footprint will be greater and they’ll only be disposed now the packet is open. I’ve highlighted to Amazon to take immediate action.
