I recently purchased a Blink video doorbell. It said this item was compatible, so I purchased it as I wanted a no-drill anti-theft device and thought this would be great. WRONG! If you've got a Blink doorbell, avoid this product all together. It not only doesn't fit properly, but it moves around once you do get it in the device (even with the sticky padding it provides.) My doorbell was also left with tons of scratches from trying to get it inside the device. Then, to make matters worse, a screw got stripped, and then the entire thing broke. So now I'm stuck with a scratched up doorbell and a device for it that I can't even use, and NO refund.

If you have a blink doorbell camera this is not for it. I purchased because description stated it was compatible with blink however it’s not. It’s very difficult to fit the camera inside the holder but once in the holder it moves around. It comes with 4 very small foam pads that is absolutely no help and the worst part is it desensitizes the motion detection on the camera which defeats the purpose of the camera. It is easy to install and does seem sturdy but I will be returning for a different one.

I got this as we are not able to replace the doorbell on our rental property. We are planning on using batteries for it, but we were worried someone would just pull it off. This is the perfect anti theft solution.No mounting required. I was worried because it seemed like you can still open the casing. But it is locked with a screw that can only be used with a special shape screw driver. Unless the thief wants to spend more 10 mins trying to crack it open, there is no way it can be stolen. You would notice it right away, specially with Blink Doorbell motion detector feature.

Bueno, pero sin problema se podrían robar tu ring. Únicamente la base que atora en la puerta es de algún tipo de metal. Lo demás es plástico. Independientemente que sea plástico el punto es la seguridad del dispositivo, la cual no te la da al 100, ni al 80. Ocupas además de esto, ingeniárselas y agregar algo más para que te de por lo menos esa certeza de un 80% de seguridad.

Box for the Ring was great, just what i was looking for.My only negative comment would be, there wasnt enough foam fillers to ensure a snug fit for the camera. I needed to improvise to secure it inside the box.
