Sounds better with the rubber plug taken out. I bought the 12 inch and was blown away of it's quality! Hands down the best and helps with finding Zen.

I absolutely adore this thing. I vibe out with my family with it. Anyone can play. You dont even have to know how to play a real song. I named mines Drummie. BUT THOSE STICKERS WILL FALL OFF 🥺

This is my first tongue drum so I considered going for the tiny 6” drum so I could get used to playing it and decide whether or not I like it for the holistic therapy work I do, but at the last minute I decided to throw caution to the wind and get the larger version. It definitely helped that it was on sale.From the diverse color options, sizes and other add-ons it was a tough choice of which one to go with. I ended up getting the black or dark gray with gold number emblems on it and extras included in the package.My ONLY gripe, and I must say I was a bit surprised and mildly let down — the digits on each key came with tape over them which I figured was to protect them in its packaging, so when I pulled it out I went to start removing the tape. To my surprise the digit came off with it! I thought “so you mean to tell me they couldn’t find a more aesthetically pleasing way to number the keys?!” Apparently not.In the grand scheme of things, that really doesn’t matter. It’s meant to be played, not model for the music instrument version of Vogue. That which it’s supposed to do it does beautifully. The sound is full, strong, and long lasting. I’m looking forward to seeing the music I can eject from this lovely piece.Would definitely recommend 👍 And keep in mind when considering what size - bigger is better. ;]

The media could not be loaded.  I love this drum because of the peaceful tones it produces. Most of the notes are absolutely perfect. One of them is a but buzzy, but I think I can tune it. The drum holds the vibration really well and continues vibrating for a LONG time. This is perfect for creating a meditative atmosphere. Every time I pass mine, I simply MUST play it! I replaced my stickers with the ones provided by only using ONE number in between the 2 octaves, and I placed them on the TOP of the drum so that I could see them better. I LOVE this drum.
