Q: can this be used on an electric stove?

So this wok has a round bottom, which really won’t work well on an electric stove. A flat bottom wok would work better, but electric stoves still aren’t great for wok cooking as they just don’t get the wok hot enough. I use a propane wok burner with my round bottom wok.

Q: This wok set shows a handle held on by a loop screwed on the end, but the wok listings show a handle screwed onto a bracket. Which is it?

The wok I got has a cast aluminum bracket on the wok and the handle is held in place by pressure provided by a long screw (with a loop on the end) that goes through a hole in the handle to the bracket. I think this mounting method is stronger and more reliable than securing the handle with a screw or two from the side.
