Honda 1.6L Civic running cool again
This is the correct part for this vehicle, at least. 1996 Honda Civic 1.6L EX. I couldn't really find mention of how the electric fan was controlled in the workshop manual other than a thermal switch. In fact, it showed it in the wrong place on the engine. This is kind of behind the valve cover on the left side as you look into the engine bay. Anyway, I bought this car for a steal because it ran hot when you sat in traffic or a drive thru once it warmed up. The electric fan wasn't kicking on until about 210F, and even then it only ran for about 10 seconds. It should cycle on around 195F, and run until the temp falls to about 185F. This replacement unit fit perfectly, and fixed my issues when I got stuck in traffic. The engine is always inside operating temperature now. A little pricey but it's a quality part.

Works good.
I misdiagnosed the switch and thought it was not working. Turns out it was working just fine. Very satisfied with my purchase.

Fits 97 Honda Civic Hatchback CX
This *almost* fits my 97 civic. It bolts on fine and is identical to the sensor I took out, however the connector doesn't lock into this new sensor. It's like 1mm away from going over that locking tab, and even with all my might, I cannot push it in any farther to lock. I cannot see what is causing this. Other than that, it works and turns on the fan at the correct coolant temperature. Time will tell if this lasts.

Chasing a ghost
Perfect fit. no problems,2000 Acura TL We were hoping this would fix the problem with both fans running as soon as you turn the key. We only have one more to try. Just might be cheaper to always have a replacement fan on hand.

Cars Happy. I'm happy. Radiator is happy. Save the auto parts store prices and get this.
Great product at half the price of the local auto parts store. There is another model on Amazon that is about $1 less. Go for this name brand unit. It has one job to do, it works, has an o ring seal and is easy to install. I put it on my 2005 CRV that I was having cooling issues. After 135k a whole lot started to fail at one time. New Radiator, new thermostat, bypass hoses and then discovering the fan temp sensor went out too. Cheap easy fix, fans come on at the right temp. Cars happy, I'm happy, new radiator is happy. Win win! 👍

Not the easiest to install, but perfect fit part
This is not the easiest sensor to access if you are replacing it on its own. If you are already replacing the thermostat on a 2003 Honda Pilot I would recommend replacement of this sensor as it is mounted to the thermostat housing and is otherwise a pain to get to. Removal of the sensor from the thermostat housing requires either a 15/16" deepwell socket, or a 15/16" wrench. My wrench had an angled head which made it easier to get this sensor installed.

Failed
Easy to install, price is great but it failed after 3 days of using the car for work, so i would NOT RECOMMEND it to nobody. I bought it based on the reviews but it did not work for me so its just my own experience. I say DON’T BUY IT’ buy it and learn on your own experience.

No Issues
Can't say that I have much to offer on this. I was doing some other work in the same area, so I figured why not? I figured it was helpful for the piece of mind, so I replaced a few things. It's been several months and no issues.

Es justo a la medida

Dash temperature gauge never showed engine overheating but evidence suggested that it was getting too hot. Radiator fans weren't turning on. They would turn on when the connection was jumped. Replacing the switch resolved the issue.
