Daiwa J-Braid 300M 8-Strand Woven Round Braid Line

Excellent supperb line

Quality of smoothness very good however strength test Too bad. I did multiple tests for lifting dumbbell 5 kgs and each time the line broke. On the weing scale the maximum strength at breaking point was 6 kgs. Don't go by name DIAWA it's bad. A local india made 28.4 kg braid has a breaking strength of 7.9 kgs and the cost of the local braid ( Hunter Pro ) is costing Rs 1500/- for same 300 metres

I’m not sure why I ever buy any other braided lines. The j-braid grand is great. It casts well, is very quiet in the guides, and is much smoother than other options (like Sufix Revolve). I use an Alberto knot to attach leader material to this braid and have had no issues- it provides a strong and reliable hold. j-braid grand is always a good value for the money. The diameter is thinner than other brands with the same test rating, and I’ve had no issues with wind knots.

15lb in chartreuse is my favorite main line for walleye and bass fishing. I tie it to a ~7 foot 10lb fluoro leader Very smooth, long casting and manageable. I first tried 10lb but found i got too many wind knots when jigging. 15 is my fav

I like this line colour for ocean fishing.

Je suis un guide de pêche pour le doré jaune au Québec. Depuis quelques années j'utilise seulement de daiwa J-Braid x8, en 15 ou 20 lbs test. Le fil est super soyeux, les lancés sont fluides et sa couleur vive reste bien.
