Compact, effective (fast) camp stove
This stove is as advertised. I use it when camping to boil water for my coffee. It is super fast. Something like 5 minutes for 16 ounces of water. When I'm done I let it dry and pack it up into itself! Love it for camping but haven't tried to cook anything substantial. I did cook some pasta in the provided container but there is another pot available for larger volume cooking

Great and Useful On The Go
The Fire Maple gas stove is a fantastic companion for outdoor adventures. Its compact design and powerful flame make it a reliable tool for heating food and boiling water, even in chilly conditions. During my recent camping trip, temperatures dipped into the 30s, but the Fire Maple stove quickly warmed up a cup of cocoa, providing much-needed comfort. Its

Sweet Fire-Maple cook system
I've tested tons of cook systems over the years, from ultra-lite burners to complete cook systems. Sometimes over paying is just over paying. I hate products that over charge without any additional benefits. So that's one of the reasons I highly recommend this cook system. Here are some more reasons: -It's light for a cook system -It's thoughtfully designed, self contained with gas -It looks good -It functions exactly as advertised, and the valve produces an even flame and predictable adjustments -Not too much money, high value feature set -Expandable cook system options -Been around and improved over the years

Great alternative to jetboil
The Fire Maple Polaris Pressure Regulator Cooking System is a great stove for camping and does an excellent job when you need fast, efficient cooking. It heats up quickly and boils water noticeably faster than many standard backpacking stoves, which is a big plus when you’re hungry or trying to make coffee in the morning. It is a bit bulky, especially compared to ultralight setups, but it’s still very manageable for duo campers or anyone not trying to shave every last ounce. Everything packs together nicely, and the added size feels worth it for the performance you get. The neoprene sleeve is a nice touch for insulation and handling, but it can get dirty if you start using the pot as actual cookware instead of just a water boiler. It’s not a dealbreaker, just something to be aware of if you’re cooking meals directly in the pot. One thing worth noting is that it gives off a funky smell at first. I’d definitely recommend boiling several pots of water before using it for food, as the smell goes away after a few uses. Overall, this is a powerful, reliable camping stove that’s great for car camping, overlanding, or backpacking with a partner. Fast performance and solid build make it a strong choice, as long as you’re okay with a little extra bulk and a short break-in period.

Great product
I bough the Polaris and the Star X1 to compare them Polaris: Pro: appears to be made of quality material. Like the X1 it will hold 1 ltr. The infighter is easy to use and works perfectly. The regulator is easy to turn and you can bring the flame down to a simmer easily. The X1 is more of a challenge to adjust. The Polaris has an internal piece in the regulator to keep the flame consistent regardless of the fuel pressure. The lid has a locking mechanism when stowing it away. Everything fits inside. Con: it’s $30-40 more than the X1. Although everything fits inside, I’m adding something to protect the ignition wire over the stove. The fuel can fits over this piece when packed, but not sure after bumping around it wouldn’t damage it.

Half the price of Jetboil and so far all of the quality
It's heavy. But it is excellent for camping. It perfectly fits the 230 g fuel cannister inside of it with the rest of the stove. Easy to use and works like a charm. Ignitor is excellent. The value of this overall seems amazing considering the Jet Boil is literally double the price. I will say that I've only used about one fuel cannister through it but so far all I can see is a quality product.

Worked 1 trip and can't find replacement parts
Used this stove on a 10 day trip in the back country Northern Sierras when I first bought it. Work perfectly for my wife and I. We couldn't get out for a year and a half because I took a fall and damaged my back. Well, to keep a long story short, we were finally able to get out again last week. we packed up all of stuff and headed out on a short 4 day 3 night adventure with some friends. First night the click lighter wasn't working and we noticed that the gas would start to come out and then stop. No matter what we tried, the stove would not let the gas flow. We were lucky to be with friends who had another stove or we weren't eating. When we got home, we noticed that the o-ring inside the regulator was a little off and falling apart. I have searched everywhere online for a replacement regulator or even a kit to rebuild it. Can not find anything. We really liked this stove, but I guess once it breaks or stops working you can't repair it. Highly recommend testing it before you go out or at least packing a pocket rocket as a back up system. I would love to hear from fire maple about how to repair their system, but can't seem to get a response. Hope this helps.
