Monroe Truck and Auto Accessories Unique Key Switch, Compatible with ICON Golf carts

Easy to DIY swap on an Icon I40L. The plug was directly compatible. It took just a few minutes to do and I had no issues.

I got this and replaced the universal ignition switch on my iCON IL40. All iCON golf carts use a common key, so the keys work on all carts unless you replace it with this one, which gives a unique key. Installation took about 5 minutes and at a fraction of the cost the dealer was asking. Highly recommended.

This was very easy to install, and the key and switch have the same high quality as the original. The electrical connector is the same as the original, which made for a quick install. The key has a different logo on the bow, which helps identify it to the dealer as not a fleet key. To access the back of the switch, pull up on the top of the console. There is no need to remove any screws. The console snaps back into place. I found it easiest to start on one side and work my way around.

This item was extremely easy to install. Now my Icon has a unique key that makes me feel safe that my cart won’t be stolen by someone with the standard key. Highly recommend this item.

The ICON dealer wanted $125 to change the switch. Took about 20 minutes.

This is an exact replacement for the stick key switch used on many electric carts. Fit the dash cutout perfectly and snaps right on electrically. Just don’t expect a unique key. This key fits thousand of other similar carts.
