Doesn't come with its own batteries but it has a battery mounting plate understandable.Its very bright and can be controlled via mobile app (surprised me) Offers a lot of features but basically does the job very well.

The fact that it includes a foam case and battery mount makes this light, in my opinion, a better value than the 100x.

This is a great on-the-go light that you can strap some NPF batteries to and take with you in the tightest of places. I grip this to columns and attach the light in high areas without worry that it will fall down/cause issues.

Perfect light for remote content creation. Can replicate daylight perfectly, when paired with a soft box, is the easiest way to get natural light quickly.

I was happy was the amount of preset that came with the app and light is super bright for what I paid for. So that was awesome.

I love Aputure products and have many (at least 15) other lights and accessories. Between small, medium and heavy lights from them. Again is an amazing brand.This light have a great size and is very portable and potentially can save you a lot of space and hassle because their size and yet they are still powerful for small jobs like medium to close up shots or some photography work like portrait.Three things to consider.1. Package is not the best because you really need to pack things super tight to make it fit. So you will spend sometime making it work trying to make the cables fit and the accessories in order to be able to close it.2. Bowens mount is not super strong. Is just plastic and you should be careful not to overwork it.3. The reflector is really bad. That should be addressed. Is just a piece of cheap plastic that doesn’t do a good job. (Sorry Aputure you know I love you but this one is totally true.)I love that the cable is long and strong, that the light is bicolor with great punch and color accuracy. I will recommend make it easy to find a D tap to V mount battery cable for this cause the light has already the v mount adapter (just to hold the battery, not to power it directly) and I’m not a fan of sony batteries for lights when you need many hours of power.

This is a very nice little light that just simply fits in places that it's older brothers can not. I recommend having a few of these in your lighting kit if you are serious about video production.
