Great for gaming

There are simple size mechanics that differentiate between a village, a town, a city, a metropolis. Apparently no one told the people who put these maps together. I mistakenly thought everyone knew. If this size thing doesn't bother you, there are some very nice maps here. Specially if you want a village on the coast or on an island in the middle of some large body of water. There are many towns and some cities as well as many towns and the occasional wayside farmhouse/inn. Printed on normal paper, not graph, with a dot style reverse. All arguments considered, 3 1/2☆'s is an honest and reasonable ranking. Most maps are useful, time saving, and many are actually villages.

very nicely done. well made book. maps are good and represent a variety of town, cities, villages and hamlets. there are main land ones and island ones. very happy with this product

They’re for my fiancé- I don’t know much about it! But he seemed thrilled!! And giddy as he turned the pages. I noticed they were all very simple, basic designs that the DM could build upon.

It has horrible maps . Maybe like 3-4 are even useable, I think a 5 year old could do better

Search for "watabou village generator" to find the generator.The book has brought little to the table beyond what the generator gives you.

The maps look very nice and have a wide range of sizes between like 10 building to like 100.There is a good number of island villages; but overall they look very nice.Each page has a grid on the back if you wish to draw out the interior of a building or something and the book comes with a table of content where you can name the villages.
