DiversiTech The Original Grill Pad Grill Mat for Under the Grill Protection, Grilling Gear, Round, Brown, 30”

Well overall I bought it as a temporary solution, but honestly I don’t know if it will even be used. The box it arrived in was fine, but when I opened it there were pieces of the cement fibers all over, that had broken off. The face was also scratched with the gray fiber showing through the brown painted surface. I wasn’t expecting much, but I certainly thought it would be better than this!

a 3' inch ember from the bottom of our copper fire pit dropped onto the grill pad. we saw it. it went out in a few minutes, but not before ( as we found out in the morning ) it burned a hole right thru this grill pad, sticking to our deck, and leaving a permanent stain. You'd need to buy three of these, so when an ash burns through one, it might not burn through two more. Triple your cost sure, but triple your deck preservation. Or don't buy it!!! Crappy item. And now I see all the reviews who had the same issue I had!! And the photos, I'd post another one, but you get the idea. A HOLE RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF IT!!! STAY CLEAR.

Had a similar mat that finally wore out after many years if use. Purchased this as a replacement. Sturdy, but lightweight. Provides great protection for our synthetic deck.

We have bought this in the spring for the past 3 years to use under our fire pit on the deck. It has always gotten us through a full summer until this year. This year it didn’t last us even a single fire. Ridiculous. Change your product if you have to but don’t charge the same price for a ridiculously inferior product if you do. And yes I got your enclosed flier this year stating I basically can’t use this product foranything it is marketed for, so please don’t reply to this post that you told me so AFTER I bought it.

Fell apart after a few uses. It was bought as a Christmas gift and not used until March. Now it’s too late for a return. Save your money. I would prefer to give it zero stars

Does the job but would recommend upgrading to a more substantial product.

The grill pad arrived a day earlier than promised. I was in the process of refinishing the deck and the weather was not cooperating. It was more than 10 days before I could put the pad down on The deck. I ordered it to replace an old piece of linoleum under my smoker. The smoker is oriented vertically, so the 30" diameter was just right. I smoked a small batch of trout this past weekend and. it worked well. The real tests will come on Labor Day weeken when I'm smoking a whole brisket!

Have only used for a few weeks beneath our chiminea. Protection from the legs rusting on the cement patio. Easy to hose off dirt and debris.
