Wonderful to revisit an old friend in a convenient format
This is my first experience of using Kindle to read a book. I have always been anti the idea of an electronic book because I love the real thing in paper. I am surprised by how much I am enjoying reading on the Kindle and how quickly I have adapted to it. Jane Eyre, as a story, is as wonderfully delicious to read as ever, and despite reading it and watching dramatisations of it many times, is still fresh. It is a joy to live Jane's, at times heart-wrenching, life with her.

A masterpiece
This is a well deserved classic which can be enjoyed over and over again. Charlotte Bronte's masterpiece gives us a view into the world of an unusual heroine. Jane is an orphan of plain appearance and independent spirit. She values righteousness over wealth, class status or physical good looks. Her life is one of constant hardship, but even when offered a comfortable life she shuns it on moral grounds. The love between her and Rochester can only be fulfilled on her terms.Charlotte's first person narrative provides deep insight into Jane's mental thinking, written in beautiful language. We feel compelled to want Jane to succeed and gain true love and worth.

Hard reading
As this is written of the time it makes it very hard reading, trying to understand the old word's of an age past, but enjoyable all the same.

My favourite book.
Liked everything about this book, disliked nothing. For me, simply the best book to read and enjoy.

Good book.
I bought this book to read as my daughter was studying it at school. It took me a while to get into (although I already knew the story) as I prefer an Austen to a Bronte. It was straightforward to read, good quality print and meant I could discuss it with my daughter.

I liked the book, the fact that it was a slow burn and had many uncalled for twists. The language was difficult but after a few chapters became easier
I like the idea of it, I liked the slow burn genre and enjoyed the deviating plot, it was interesting!
